Why arrange a factual investigation?
There is an old saying ñ You canít win a case without the facts. Many would say you canít afford to run a case without the facts, right from the start. Certainly, the earlier the investigation, the fresher and more available the witnesses, but we conduct many investigations months and years after the event.
Clients benefit from an objective, comprehensive report on the full circumstances. Strengths and weaknesses in the evidence can be identified from the start, and the case managed accordingly. Lawyers can provide advice knowing they can rely on the history of the case. The best tactical response can be determined from the outset. Discovering in the middle of a court hearing, or during complex dispute resolution negotiations, that a presumption of assumed fact is wrong, or biased to one position, is a very expensive and compromising experience.
