		Class Actions and Complex Litigation Investigation Investigation of class action and matters involving dozens or hundreds of witnesses requires experience and sophisticated practice management. Our senior staff have specialised in this type of work for over a decade. We have conducted investigations in some of Australia's most complex litigation. We conduct interviews of witnesses covering all relevant issues in the litigation. We prepare statements and reports enabling solicitors and barristers to determine which witnesses are the most relevant to each issue, allowing them to utilise their time more effectively. We have rapid search facilites and the availability of sufficient investigators for prompt attendance on witnesses nationwide. Experience in the management of large-scale enquiries ensures that work in progress is coordinated and conducted within our clients guidelines. All reports, witness statements and other required data are transmitted on an urgent basis. We have developed a standard data model for tracking the location and contact history for every potential witness. The data model is extensible and can be easily modified to fit the requirements of a wide range of matters. We use database technology to track all attempts to locate witnesses. An extensive affidavit can be easily prepared detailing attempts made to locate witnesses. We automatically generate reports on our attempts to locate witnesses and on our contact with each located witness. Less time billable time is spent preparing reports so a greater percentage of our invoice is investigation time rather than report preparation time.
